Since it’s release in 2018, the WiseGrip trombone grip has received glowing reviews! Here is what trombone players have been saying about WiseGrip:
I do like this grip. For me it makes the trombone easier to hold and creates a better balance point. Simply put – it works. Congrats on a great product!
– JW, Maryland
It works folks. LOVE Mine. I have one and love it. From the prototype to the final result. Worth every cent. Keep em coming Jay!!!!

The minute I tried the Wisegrip at ITF in Iowa for the first time, it felt great. Actually, it just felt right. It fits the contour of my fingers and has made holding the horn for extended periods much more comfortable. The weight is distributed more evenly, and as a result I don’t squeeze in my grip at all. Try it for yourself!

I’ve been using this since I got it, and I’m LOVING it. Very comfortable and it makes the horn feel really balanced.
– PL, Wisconsin
I’ve been encouraging everyone in my studio to order one up.
I very quietly handed my trombone to my instructor, saying, “Here hold this for me.”
– BR, Iowa
“Huh? Hey, what’s this?!”
He hadn’t even lifted it into position when he exclaimed, “Oh, I’m gonna like this!!”
He then studied it in the horn natural position. “Nice! Where’d you get this? You’ve gotta send me a link.”
I love mine! Very comfortable and affordable! #wisegrip

If you’re hesitating to buy one, it’s $25 and worth every penny. I’ve been fighting tendonitis in my left hand due to a combination of stupidity on my part, age, and overuse, and this has been a godsend.

Great product!

Love mine on my large bore Shires. I’ve also found it works really well with the Get-a-grip brace
– Joseph Miraglia
Just wanted to let you know I received the grip today. It didn’t look like much and wasn’t very expensive (relatively). But after the quick and easy installation, what a difference! Much more comfortable, and I think it’s the best bargain on trombone comfort.
– AW, Michigan
I tested it on my bass as well (Yamaha 622g), while it was tight to swing it into place it fits great otherwise! I’ll probably order another at some point for that one. I mostly play tenor anyway (Bach 42T).
Highly recommended!!! Thanks for a quality product!

I tried several hand rest or hand guard, like Edward, Rath and Sheridan. but I think your item is the best for me.
– TK, California
1. Easy to attach and detach: I sometimes want to detach these item dues to sound quality or change the trombone but your item is the best to attach or detach
2. Sweat resist: Previously I used Sheridan’s hand rest but that is leather rapped so I do not feel comfortable when I play long and sweat.
3. Price: Very reasonable price
Now I used your item for Yamaha Xeno Bass Trombone.
Best few bucks if you you have hand/wrist problems. It won’t cure anything, but sure improves comfort and reduces the tension.
